Garden Wedding!

Good Morning Scrapping Cottage Fans!

Hello everyone it is Pam on the Blog today! I have another very special wedding die to share with you today and I paired it with two additional dies!

Design Step:
1.  Start by using the Cottage Cutz Garden Bride and Groom die and cut it on white card stock.  Color the flowers with Copic markers.
 2.  Using the largest Cottage Cutz Stitched Wide Rectangle Frame cut out a white card stock frame
 3.  Using Cottage Cutz Wildflower2 and Wildflower 5 cut out 6 flowers and color with Copic markers
 4.  To give the flowers some dimension use a stylus and round out the blooms
5.  Cut out a piece of pale pink Bazzill card stock 4 1/8 x 5 1/4 and pop up the frame and then glue the bride and groom flat.
6.  Add three flowers on each side and glue dot a ribbon to the flowers as shown
7.  Mount the pale pink card stock to an A2 white base.  Add a small butterfly from the Cottage Cutz Wildflower 5 die.

Memories

Hi, Janja here!

I think it is a good time to show you the card, that I created some time ago. At the bottom I added the word - memories from the new Expressions Plus release.

Supplies:
- CottageCutz dies: Memories Phrase, Wildflowers 1, Wildflowers 4, Wildflowers 5, Lighthouse w/Clouds (seagulls), Under the Sea (rocks)
- white card base: 5.3 x 5.3" (13,5 x 13,5 cm)
- watercolor paper: 4.2 x 4.2" (10,7 x 10,7 cm)
- white and dark gray cardstock
- Distress inks: Spiced Marmalade, Twisted Citron, Mowed Lawn, Vintage Photo, Broken China, Faded Jeans, Stormy Sky, Hickory Smoke
- Memento ink Dandelion

To begin, cut out wildflowers, rocks and seagulls with dies. Use white and dark gray cardstock for wildflowers.
Also cut out word memories from white cardstock.

Distress white cutouts with Distress inks. Glue them together with gray cutouts, so that they are partially overlapped. Apply white and yellow pearl dots.

Draw the sea and the sky on the watercolor paper with Distress inks. Once the paper is dry, trim it to the correct size.

To complete the card, mount all the elements as shown on white card base with a wooden embossed finish.

CARDS AND MORE WITH ANITA KEJRIWAL

Hello to all!!!

This is Anita Here.

I hope you all are having good fun with the CottageCutz new release dies. They have also come up with new stamp and die combo sets and they are all too good.
You can check them out here.

For my cards today, I am showing two simple yet very pretty cards. Here I have used the negatives of the die cuts as stencils to create a lovely background effect.

Here are my cards.

For the butterfly card,

I used the CottageCutz Spring Butterfly 3 to cut two pieces of butterfly.
Using the negative of the die cut, create a subtle background using distress ink seedless preserve.

Distress the butterflies with Distress inks seedless preserve, picked raspberry and wilted violet.Spritz a little with water.

Add the butterfly on to the card base. Add some sequins and glitter.

Add the sentiment.

For my second card

I have created a lovely sunrise scene using the die cuts. Here also, I have used the negatives of the CottageCutz Wildflower 5

Do follow the pictures to know how I created this card.

Cut a white card stock to size 4.5 inches by 5.5 inches. Use. a circle of a negative die cut as mask for the sun.
Distress the remaining area with distress inks.

Using the negative of the die cut of wild flower, Sponge some shadow effect of the plant. Add the positive die cut.Remove the mask.
