Fall and Christmas

Hi, Vladka here today with two projects!
I have something old and something new. Actually both projects are new, but for the first one I used dies from previous releases and for the second one I used dies from new Christmas release.
Fall is for me the most inspirational time of the year, because of the colors and card is special, because it was created for my mom´s birthday. It is an easel card, my first actually. On the front, I used Build a Grapevine Wreath die, one of my favorite. All die cuts are colored with Distress Inks, because it is the easiest way to get beautiful colors. Inside I used die cuts which I cut out with Hand Mirror and Cameo die. To get this look I used liquid pearls and add some Vintage Photo re-inker to get more brownish shade. Foliage nicely supplement the cameo and the front page.
And I have something more to show you. This project it is special for me and this is actually letter for Santa together with an envelope. Here I used following dies: Peeking Santa BearDouble Bow and Build a Poinsettia. Stamps are from Christmas Gift Set.
Christmas is special time and because of that also creating the cards is special. Dies from both new Christmas releases are so playful in gives you really a lot of opportunities and ways to use them.
Have a great weekend!

October - Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Hi all! Vladka here!

Today I want to share with you two special cards, which are dedicated to special month - October. This month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and his symbol is pink ribbon. Both my cards will go to Europa Donna (in Slovenia), which is The European Breast Cancer Coalition. I´m really happy that I can participate in this.

So, I created two cards with pink bows, cut out with bow die from Homemade Christmas Gift Set and I put the Butterfly on one and Dragonfly on another.

Unfortunately sometimes we need to battle the battles which we didn´t choose and in such life situations love and prayers are most important. This is the way we all can help. So, I´m leaving you for today with this quote:

Where there is great Love,
there are always Miracles!

Lamp Post

Hi! Vladka here!

I took another little die from Petites release: Lamp Post and created another Christmas card.

Because die cut is small, I colored with blue water color just part of card stock. Then I spurted a little white color to create a falling snow and glued this cute lamp with some greenery on it.Finished touch was created with Merry Christmas expression which is also the part of Homemade Christmas Gift Set. Perfect card for massive production.

I wish you all great day.

View through Victorian Window

Hi, all! Vladka here with you!
I will start this year as I finished it - with Christmas card. Woodland Pine Trees die is just perfect for such cards and when I saw it, I decided to make card with window.
So I cut out Victorian Window and made this winter wonderland view. For festive touch I added one part of the biggest bow, which you can find in Homemade Christmas Gift Set. For 3D look I glue everything together with foam tape, added also white tempera and card was finished.
This is all for today, enjoy your day!

Merry Christmas

Happy Sunday everyone!

Kathy with you and today I have a couple of Christmas projects to show you!  The first is a very simple card I made for MY Christmas Cards this year!  I wanted something elegant and simple...this is what I came up with!

I just love the white and red combination on this showing the beautiful Elegant Flurry Snowflake Die cut.  Very easy card to put together!  I used a red card base and a white mat partially embossed with a snowflake die.  I stamped a sentiment on the bottom, wrapped some red ribbon around the mat, then added the snowflake and a bow!

My second project is a gift card holder I made using the Fancy Envelope Die, my new FAVORITE die!  It's perfect as a gift card holder, I love it!  I know I'll be using this one a lot!

To make the holder, I cut the envelope with white cardstock and again with some Christmas designer paper (Botanical Noel by Recollections).  I trimmed the designer paper piece to cover the flap and another piece for the back (taken from the inside of the pocket).

The Poinsettia Spray was cut with various cardstock scraps that were shaped and slightly inked.  I also cut a bow with red cardstock using the Homemade Christmas Gift Set and added a button with a twine bow.   I also cut an additional poinsettia flower to decorate the flap with a couple of leaves.

These are the dies I used:

Chalkboard style

 Hi, all! Vladka is here!

This time I have two cards with chalkboard style  for you. I love this style and I´ve used it before, but I wanted to try it also with CottageCutz dies. I combined different dies from different releases: Christmas, Harvest and from the last Winter release which is so playful. Here are both cards:
First one is combination of Wreath, Mittens, Winterland Holly and Bow dies. First two are cut out from black cardstock and embossed with white powder. Winterland Holly and Bow are coloured with Distress Inks.
Second one is combined from Snowflake, Ice Skates and Poinsettia dies. Also here are Snowflake and Ice Skates cut out from black cardstock and embossed with white powder and Poinsettia is coloured with different Distress Inks.
Holidays approaching very fast and I have so much to do till then. I have to hurry up.
But I still have time to wish you great day and don´t forget to have fun!
